Lime Creek Road
Good for morning or evening. More clients choose morning here, especially because many clients pair this location with Cascade Falls for a two locations shoot.
Mountain views, aspens, evergreen trees and meadows.
Cascade Falls
I find morning to be the best time for this location.
It does involve a little hike, it is not long, but does have some spots that can be tricky.
Cascade Adjacent Trail
Morning or evening, but I suggest morning.
Same trail as the falls above, but does not go to the falls, it is more about the canyon.
Molas
Good for morning or evening.
Can involve a little hiking around, but doesn't necessarily have to. Very accessible.
Andrew's Lake
Best in the evening, very accessible.
Mountains do look a little further away than other mountain locations.
Alt Engineer Trail Head
Good for morning or evening.
Mountains, aspens, and a small lake.
Vallecito
Morning or evening.
There are pretty mountains, but the mountains are not the main feature of this location.
The lake, the beautiful trees and woodsy vibes are great here.
Backside Purgatory
Good for morning or evening.
Driving to different spots along the way, a few different vibes of locations available.
Mountain views, aspens, backroads, meadows, rocks.
Silverton - City Limits
Great for evening.
There are many beautiful mountain views around Silverton township.
The actual town also has beautiful hotels and architecture.
Velocity Basin
Silverton Area
Adventure Location, can take 4-6 hours.
Morning or afternoon/evening.
This is a 4x4 road access location, we can meet in Silverton and carpool if needed.
Porphyry - Red Mountain
Morning or evening.
Adventure Location, can take 4-6 hours.
This spot does require a 4x4 vehicle, we can carpool, it is about a 1.5 hour drive from Durango city limits. There are a few different places to go along the way.
Telluride Town
Morning or evening.
Adventure Location.
Can be paired with other Telluride spots if in an Adventure package.
Trout Lake

Morning or evening.
Adventure Location.

Bridal Veils
Evening is best.
Adventure Location.
Can hike up and take photos at other waterfalls along the way.

Great Sand Dunes
Morning or evening.
Adventure Location, 3.5 hours from Durango.
Certain spots could need a 4x4 vehicle, but we could meet at the parking lot and car pool.
There is usually a lot of walking, does take a few hours minimum.
Pagosa Springs
Morning or evening.
Adventure Location.
Spots I like tend to be 30-60 minutes from town.
Pagosa is already an hour drive from Durango.
Falls Creek
Evening location.
In town.
Great glowy light spot, different kind of mountains.
Lion's Den
Evening location.
In town.
Great mountain background spot for still being in town.
Located near campus on the mesa.

Morning or evening.
In town.
Can get a great variety of photos with the river, river trail, bridge, trees, gazebo.

This is our urban vibe location option, architecture backgrounds, bars, hotels,
but still some nature vibes available.
Strater Hotel
Anytime.
In town.
Durango's Historic Strater Hotel, fun fancy vibes.
